For teachers

Kaft in class

The apps are made for learning, also together in class. This is what you can expect, and what we would love from you.
  • Free for teachers

As a teacher you use every app in full and for free, to prepare or to show on the board. The first 3 topics are free for your pupils too.

  • Worksheets for each app

Every topic gets printable worksheets with answers, starting with Ruit. They follow the Flemish curriculum goals.

  • No accounts for pupils

Pupils create nothing and give no email address. Their progress stays on their own device.

  • A fair school price

For every app in a class or a whole school, the school pays €3 per pupil per year. You get a quote on request.

  • Check it with us

All content stays a concept until a teacher or subject expert has checked it. Would you be that second reader? Your name goes with it if you like.

  • Calm and private

No ads, no tracking, no notifications. You can use Kaft in class without having to explain anything to parents or the head.

In the lesson

How to use Kaft in class

No installing and no accounts: a browser and a board are enough.

  1. Pick a topic

Every app follows a learning path. You see at once what pupils need to know first and where the topic comes back later.

  2. Show it together

Open the topic on the board and start from the question or the picture. The explanation follows step by step.

  3. Let them practise

Pupils practise on their own device, with a hint when they are stuck. Whoever is done gets a fresh variant.

Questions

What teachers ask us

Do my pupils need an account?

No. Pupils open the app in a browser and start. Their progress stays on their own device, nothing about them is kept.

What does it cost for my class?

Nothing for you as a teacher. The learning path and the first 3 topics of every app are free for everyone, Draad entirely. If the school wants every app for every pupil, it is €3 per pupil per year.

Does the content follow the learning goals?

Yes, we start from the Flemish learning goals and curricula. Content stays marked as a draft until a teacher or subject expert has checked it.

Can I help?

Gladly. Check a topic in your subject and send us what could be better. If you like, your name goes with the content you checked.

Another question? Write to contact@nealvdv.be

Kaft in your class?

Tell us which subject and which year you teach. We will think along and send worksheets as soon as they exist.

Spotted a mistake?

A few words are enough. We will check and fix it.
